Awarded April 2003 Raleigh NC AOS judging center click for entire inflorescence photo two flower photo

This is a Phal hybrid made by my dear friend Roger Cole. He is well known for his fantastic mini-cat crosses, but I must say I am proud to have this Phal hybrid named after me!!! The picture may not show the most exciting feature of this cross. The flowers are held along both sides of the inflorescence and down the spine of the inflorescence. This is why I named it 'Seagrove's 3D'. Three rows of Phal flowers!!-Unheard of???

Lc. Nora's Melody 'Linda's Song' HCC/AOS CCM/AOS click for photo

Awarded May 2, 2003 Roanoke, VA at the Blue Ridge Orchid Society Show

The first award I ever received was on this plant at the Washington DC judging center May 8th, 1999. This year in Roanoke VA, I included this plant in my display. I never anticipated a cultural award. Any damage that appears in the photo to the flowers was caused due to my negligence on the return trip home.
