Equitant - Tolumnia

Rdcdm Orchidom Valentine !

Newly mounted and ready to go. Rdcdm Orchidom Valentine. I took three to AOS judging with me in May 2010 and received three flower quality awards the same day. Colors are varying from yellow-gold with orange and cinnamon markings to solid orange to orange with cinnamon markings. Very pretty. MOUNTED on cork bark only. I can only provide photos of two of the award winners. Photo on left is Rdcdm Orchidom Valentine 'Seagrove Dancing Bears' HCC/AOS Second photo is Rdcdm Orchidom Valentine 'Seagrove Indian Glow' AM/AOS I donated one of this orchid plant to the South Carolina fund raiser and it brought a whopping $60.00

Mounted orchids are $25.00 each. Do not wait, these are selling fast.

Equitants are smallish plants that never grow too big. They are grown in a mix that can dry out very quickly and allow for frequent waterings. They are also grown mounted. Their growth habit is simple. They form fan-like growths and are often described in size by their number of growths. They bloom their hearts out. Don't cut off your flower spike until it starts to brown. Many equitants will make branches off the primary spike and continue to bloom a while longer.
