I really love the equitants and get excited over the diversity of progeny. Don't rely on me to tell you what color the hybrids will be. It is always a rainbow! I will be offering seedlings, and nice divisions of awarded and non-awarded cultivars.
HYBRIDS- Equitants
Equitants are smallish plants that never grow too big. They are grown in a mix that can dry out very quickly and allow for frequent waterings. A clay pot or a mesh basket is the normal choice for growing containers. Their growth habit is simple. They form fan-like growths and are often described in size as the number of growths in the pot. They bloom their hearts out. Don't cut off your flower spike until it starts to brown. Many equitants will make branches off the primary spike and continue to bloom a while longer.
